Invermere Thrift Store is looking to hire a part-time Sales Associates to work in our retail store. This fun and fast-paced environment will provide you with the opportunity to gain skills in retail sales and merchandising within a large and vibrant volunteer organization.
Duties will include cash handling, operating the POS, pricing, packing, assisting customers, creating displays, keeping the store clean and tidy as well as other general store duties.
You should be comfortable interacting with the public and people of all ages. This is a great opportunity for you to gain valuable experience in all aspects of retail sales and marketing. You will be required to work approximately 24 hours per week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Additional hours may be available.
· Hourly rate negotiable
· Previous retail experience an asset but full training will be provided
