YOUR DAILY MISSION: Support the Operations team to continue to roast and package kiss ass coffee!

It takes a certain savvy to be able to deliver organizational support and data analysis to a diverse Operations team. No problem for you, you’ve got the tools to pull off a top-notch powerpoint presentation, lead an introduction to process improvement or wrangle them metrics to recognize areas for optimizing our operational excellence! Your organization skills are unparalleled, and your skills allow you to maintain a fresh set of eyes, providing recommendations to teams to improve based on their KPIs. You are definitely a unicorn! You will provide general administration support and collect, analyze and report on data for the Operations teams. This role also identifies continuous improvement opportunities to reduce cost, waste, rework, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Action item tracking goes hand in hand with having a pulse on team projects and next steps. Bring on the charts, ideas, and recommendations for improvements. And of course, bring on the fun!


  • Key Performance Indicators: collect, report, and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual results and initiate direction. Meaning,
  • Central source of collecting all Production data. Analyze production metrics and key performance indicators and identify opportunities to improve factory efficiency, reduce waste and realize cost, in alignment with the Continuous Improvement Manager. Roast Accuracy, Global Efficiency, MME, Overfill, D Stops, Bag Waste (by line and source), Impression Waste Costs, Pallet Saturation, Order Accuracy (CS/F&L), On Time in Full Orders, Stalco Order Accuracy, KG/Per Labour Hour, Finished Goods Shelf Life.
  • Assist with preparing data for the weekly and monthly Lavazza team calls.
  • Support analyses related to time, machine stoppages, bottlenecks, material waste, labor, and capacity to propose recommendations to improve cost.
  • Organize, and coordinate multiple Kaizen and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks when needed.
  • Provide administration support to the Operations teams with direction from the Continuous Improvement Manager.
  • Understand orders and demand planning for the Production schedules. Provide vacation coverage for Planning Coordinator.
  • Manage annual purchase order generation for uniforms, and monitoring and receiving invoices into E-21 monthly.
  • Create, analyze, and recommend improvements for the Daily Production Report which tracks green coffee to Roasted Putaway, Overfill, Roasting Waste, Packaging Coffee Waste, and KG/Per Labour Hour (Roasting/Packaging).
  • Assist the facilitation of internal Basic Kaizen trainings and technical training days, including Support
  • Team Leads with developing training plans and support /skills matrix.
  • Support with building of presentations (power point) and excel support  .


  • Been there, done that: Minimum 2 years’ experience in admin work.
  • You know your way around a computer: Very strong technical skills in MS Office: Microsoft Word,
  • Excel (especially), PowerPoint, ERP system. Thinkcell experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project/Planner/Teams or a similar planning platform an asset.
  • Education or experience in statistical analysis and analytical skills.

  • This position works Monday to Friday, 8-hour days. Your day will start anywhere from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and roll from there.
  • Responsibility breakdown:
    Responsibility % of Time
  • Kaizen support 10%
  • Data analysis and presentation 30%
  • Administrative support to Operations team 60%
