Rockies Law Corporation is looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and motivated individual to fill a full time Reception position.

 

Start Date:

Location: Rockies Law Corporation, Invermere

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 4:30

Type of Employment: Full time

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

– greeting clients and preparing for appointments

– managing emails and phone calls

– taking payments and providing receipts

– handling incoming cheques and documents

– using our office software to book, reschedule, and cancel appointments

– preparation of legal documents

– opening files and file management

– local deliveries including mail & bank runs

– general administration duties

– general support of the conveyancers, including directing calls, scanning and filing documents to the appropriate file

 

Our ideal candidate for this position will:

– have excellent computer skills including the use of Windows and Microsoft Office

– be self-motivated and comfortable working in a team environment

– be able to take instructions from and assist the lawyers, conveyancers and legal assistants

– be resourceful and flexible

– have great customer service and communication skills

– have a positive attitude and demeanor

– prior reception/administration experience as well as experience in a legal environment is considered an asset
