Job description:

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and providing above-and-beyond guest services. As a Server, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and fun dining environment. Working as a team player is hugely important to be a successful employee at this role. We pride ourselves on having a friendly, fun, inclusive and collaborative team!

Important Notes:

Pay: CA$19.00 per hour + gratuities. 

JOB START: Mid- May to June 1
JOB END Approx: September – October – winter work possible pending senior staff departure.
NO STAFF ACCOMMODATION: applicants must have their own accommodation in/or near Radium Hot Springs, BC and/or be able to commute.

MUST HAVE:

• Serving/hosting experience
• BC’s Serving It Right Certificate
• Strong communication skills, friendly, personable and hard working!

Duties

– Greet customers warmly and take their food and drink orders

– Provide menu recommendations and upsell specials to increase revenue

– Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner

– Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently

– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area

– Ensure compliance with food safety regulations

– Utilize basic math skills for order accuracy

– Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow

Required Skills:

– Experience in hospitality and serving

– Wine, beer and liquor knowledge

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

– Proficiency in cash handling and cashiering

– Knowledge of basic food safety practices

Nice-to-Have Skills:

– Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen help

– Strong upselling skills to promote menu items effectively

-Bartending experience or knowledge

– Experience using Open Table reservation system
