Segway Guides work off-site from ValleyZip about 8 minutes away. They are responsible for the
daily operation of our Segway Tour and will be working independently. Guides are also crosstrained in the reception department of ValleyZip, allowing them to work back and forth as tour
demands fluctuate.

Responsibilities
– Daily set-up and take-down of the Segway Basecamp
– Daily equipment inspections
– Check-in guests and review their waivers
– Facilitate up to 3 training tutorials and guided tours a day. Providing interpretive
information about the local area and taking photos of the guests
– Site cleaning and trail maintenance as needed
– Assisting reception at VZA as needed

Requirements
– Tour guiding experience not required, but it is an asset.
– First Aid Training required
– Valid Drivers license and reliable vehicle
– Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Able to educate others
and work well in high-pressure situations.
