We currently have an opportunity in our restaurant for a full-time & part-time Guest Experience Leader position. Reporting to the General Manager, the Guest Experience Leader is responsible for elevating the guest experience in our restaurants and providing assistance that exceeds our guest expectations of McDonald’s. The Guest Experience Leader consistently maintains the positive, professional image of a McDonald’s leader to fellow colleagues and guests.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
Strategy
· Participates in the development and implementation of restaurant-specific Guest Experience strategies
· Assists in analyzing the restaurant Guest Experience and identifies opportunities and best use of guest focused restaurant resources
Dining Experience & Special Events
· Connects with guests throughout the restaurant to provide a welcoming dining experience which includes, but is not limited to, providing directions, carrying trays, executing children’s parties, assisting parents and seniors and inquiring on the quality of their visit and food
· Leading crew by example in elevating the guest experience and overall hospitality
· Involved in community events within the restaurant that are booked by the General Manager
· Works with the maintenance and dining room crew to identify and to ensure that the restaurant remains clean, well-maintained and properly equipped to meet guests needs
· Becomes a Guest Traffic Guide (GTG) during peak periods
Development Provided
· Trained to be an expert on McDonald’s, our history, our menu and our community involvement, specific to the restaurant
· Demonstrated knowledge about their local community, how to give directions and how to connect with all types/generations of guests
· Utilize an electronic tablet tool for guest assistance, nutritional information (calculator), OFYQ

– Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the market to ensure people strategies and initiatives are championed and executed effectively to drive a high-performance people focused culture
– Supports execution of national staffing initiatives (i.e. Regional and National Hiring Events)

Fairmont Outpost & Outdoors is the largest tubing company in the Kootenay’s with over 200 river boats, canoes, kayaks and stand up paddleboards and is seeking “a couple” interested in attending to individuals river tubing the Columbia River in Fairmont. Pete’s Marina staff spend their time providing information about our services to potential customers, taking reservations, checking customers in and providing rental customers with life jackets, and safety instructions. You are pretty much always outside interacting with and assisting customers while communicating with co-workers to ensure the Marina operates safe and smoothly in all weather conditions. You will work 8-10 hour shifts, 3-5 days per week. You will be committed to working from June 29 to September 4, 2023.
Responsibilities:
Provide information about services and rates, collect payments.
Respond to customer inquiries in person, by phone and email.
Completes all contracts accurately.
Size and distribute life jackets to all those going on board the watercraft.
Instruct customers on the proper and safe operation of the watercraft.
Clean and prepare the boats before and after all rentals.
Inspect watercraft for damages, maintenance and other repairs.
Check oil levels on all watercraft.
Monitor the weather and instruct customers on the best practices.
Fuel boats, rental and private.
Ensure marina’s tidiness and organization.
Ensure your bobcat is clean, including the windows for better visibility.
Monitor bobcats for fuel levels and any maintenance that is required.
Be a TEAM player and work with the other staff to ensure the marina operates smoothly.
Learn from those more experienced and communicate your own knowledge and ideas.
