Lodging Attendant

As a Lodging Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning condo units, hotel rooms, resort common areas and maintaining commercial contracts. These daily services will be your responsibility, so guests get the best first impression of our resort and of their accommodations. You will acquire the ability to clean guest rooms and common areas in accordance with our quality standards and established timelines.   Essential Functions: To clean units and rooms in accordance with the standards put forward in training of quality and meet pre-determined timelines for departure cleans, deep cleans and midstays. To clean and maintain common areas on resort to the highest quality and to complete scheduled tasks based on area specific commercial contracts. To confidently adapt from working in a team environment to working independently Assist with all other housekeeping services as needed and keep a good line of communication. Deliver the best possible guest and employee experience each and every time for both owners and guests. Participate in all Occupational Health and Safety standards set for the department. Experience/Requirements: Completion of high school diploma or equivalent Have a fun and positive attitude and team play. Must be fit, as the job requires climbing lots of stairs, performing manual labour and must be able to lift 20lbs. It is a physical and sometimes demanding position which requires an enthusiastic and hardworking individual. Must possess safe work habits with awareness of safe work procedures. Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and can wear latex or non-latex gloves when using chemicals. Must be flexible and adaptable under changing conditions, priorities, and unexpected situations. Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays. This position may require overtime and altered scheduling according to occupancy levels

Resort Cook

The Line Cook at Panorama Mountain Village holds the key to the financial success of a food service operation. The successful candidate must be able to work unattended in both a production atmosphere, and on some stations in the resort kitchens. This position requires basic prep cook, deep fry and salad preparation. Reporting directly to the Sous Chef, you must work well in a team environment and understand the need to maintaining a clean, organized workstation.   Essential Functions: Monitor all food in preparation and storage daily, to avoid spoilage. Follow recipe manual guide strictly to achieve consistency in portion and taste. Prepare sufficient food quantities to meet business demands. Ensure that each item leaving the kitchen has been accurately billed or requisitioned. Achieve high standards of taste and presentation in each dish. To treat each dish as if you were serving it to your family (take pride) To work with a sense of fun and animation in order to contribute to the guest experience. Ability to work some hot stations of the kitchens of the resort. To constantly push personal skills forward Dedication to the highest quality with every plate leaving the kitchen at any time. Proficiently set the day’s station for service Ensure adherence to provincial health and safety standards. Experience/Requirements: Basic experience in the Kitchen Experience in working some stations of a multiple outlet operation. Basic knowledge of the operation of Catering/Conventions Great people skills, fun, energetic, outgoing. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Strong communication skills

Lead Guide / Supervisor

This is a full-time summer position with a strong possibility of overtime for those who are interested. Training will begin in May and June, depending on individual start dates. Full time hours are available from June 25th until September 6th. Part-time hours can be offered to those who are available in May, June, September, and October. Job Duties: – Monitor the flow of Guests at the Aerial Park and make judgment decisions around staffing, ratios, and timing. – Responsible for ensuring that pre-operational inspections, BC safety authority inspections and log sheets are completed and documented. This position has a strong focus on Park and Equipment inspections. – Responsible for being on-site early to open all activities and reception. Alternatively you may have days where you are responsible for closing the site. – Filling in for absent employees as needed to ensure smooth operation of the business. – Acting as a role model for all employees by continuously exhibiting a high level of service and attention to detail in all tasks. – Delegating tasks to staff as needed. – Keeping day-to-day activities organized. – Maintaining a safe and clean work environment. – Training employees in proper safety procedures and providing training updates as needed. – Facilitating team building and employee appreciation initiatives. Requirements: Previous experience in Tourism is recommended but not required. Candidates must have valid First Aid Training.
