Houseperson Copper Point Resort Job Summary: As a houseman you are the support for the entire housekeeping team as well as the bellman for guests. You will need to ensure that all maids rooms are stocked and tidy each day as well as be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the public spaces around the resort. Duties: Ensure the resort public spaces are kept clean and well-stocked with amenities. Ensure public spaces are sanitized properly according to the health and safety guidelines. Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom, and carpet shampoo machine. Answer room calls as requested from the front desk. Empty garbage’s. Collect and empty soiled linen. Look for issues throughout the resort and report or repair them as needed. Work well with the front desk team to ensure overall guest satisfaction. Work well with the housekeeping team to ensure to ensure a positive guest experience. Work well with the maintenance team to ensure anything needing repair is reported and fixed in a timely manner. Working Conditions: Work with cleaning chemicals; proper use training will be provided. Shifts are: 8:00am-4:30pm or 2:00pm-10:30pm or 11pm-7:30am depending on availability. On your feet all day with lots of travel around resort. Great job for those who like to stay fit. Fun, team-oriented atmosphere. Qualifications: Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to be proactive and handle a high paced environment when resort is at full capacity. Ability to strategically organize and plan task order for efficient delivery. Very friendly and helpful with both guests and fellow staff. Ability to handle guest concerns with the support of the management team. Ability to lift 50lbs safely. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills. Required Education, Training and Experience: High School diploma or less Required licenses, certificates and registrations: First aid is an asset. Summer Season Housekeeper

Room Attendant Copper Point Resort Job Summary: The team here at Copper Point work together each day to create an unforgettable, picture-perfect experience for our guests. As a Room Attendant your role in that goal is very important! You are the key to creating a clean and comfortable stay for our guests and your efficiency sets the pace for our business. Duties: Provide cleaning services for guests on a day-to-day basis. Complete task sheets of listed rooms to be cleaned each day. Observe and report any maintenance repairs needed. Help stock and maintain cleaning supplies, linen carts, and linen rooms. Return Lost and Found items to the housekeeping office. Abide by all resort safety procedures to always ensure safety of both staff and guests. Maintain the cleanliness of hallways and public areas during certain times (vacuuming, dusting, etc.) Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses. Taking garbage to loading dock areas. Respond to guest requests and deliver to guests upon request. Assists Colleagues as directed by Team Lead and Housekeeping Manager. Assist in laundry when required. Perform other duties as required and assigned by the Team Lead and Housekeeping Manager. Working Conditions: Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, and lifting. Work with cleaning chemicals; proper use training will be provided. Standing for extended periods of time. Available to work weekends. Report to work in required uniform and in adherence with the Copper Point Resort Dress Code. Fun, team-oriented atmosphere. Qualifications: Knowledge in and passion for the customer service industry. Reception Wiz – Part Time/Full Time Available

The Reception Wiz is the 1st point of contact for our guests and an integral part of our team. You’ll be welcoming our guests as they arrive on-site and assisting them through the Check-In Process and the Booking Process. You must have strong customer service skills and be able to manage large groups at a time while keeping them organized for their upcoming activities. Responsibilities – Answers calls, respond to online chat request and build bookings – Take payment from guests and balance your cashouts at the end of the day – Ensure waivers are signed and filled out properly – Describe the activities to guests and answer any questions they have – Keep the tour time schedule up to date and keep the guides informed of any important details about their upcoming tours Requirements – Previous customer service experience is an asset – Friendly demeanor and able to easily chat with others – Able to manage guests and the phone lines simultaneously, while providing a high degree of professionalism and service to our guests – The candidate must have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. – Able to foster teamwork and work well in high-pressure situations. Organizational skills are a must in this role and experience with Booking Software and Excel are an asset.

Park Supervisor

The Park Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operation of the park and reports to the Facility Operations Manager. They are trained and orientated in the operational procedures of ValleyZip and are responsible for ensuring excellent customer service is provided. This is a key holder position where you will be working closely with all departments at ValleyZip. Responsibilities – Mentoring, motivating, and supervising the other employees – Monitoring the flow of guests and making decisions about ratios and timing – Conducting weekly course inspections and keeping the log books organized – Assisting in reception and filling in for Zipline Guides when needed – Conducting morning meetings and delegating tasks to staff – Opening and Closing of the park. Requirements – Previous experience in a supervisor role and/or aerial park experience – Valid Driver’s licence and First Aid Training – Comfortable working at height in suspension – Experience in customer service. Candidate must have strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills. Able to foster teamwork and work well in high pressure situations.

Marine Mechanic

Terms: Seasonal F/T or Seasonal P/T Start Date: May, 2023 Requirements: Marina Mechanic: Marine mechanical experience is preferred. Experience at driving a bobcat or similar equipment. Boater’s License is an asset. Knowledge of Lake Windermere and all boating hazards is helpful. Cleanliness and organized Flexible and adaptable to work. Able to take instructions and follow thru with the tasks given. Willing to work 8 shifts, 3-5 days per week including weekends. Days off are Tuesdays/Wednesdays. Responsibilities: Marine Mechanic Assistant: Investigate and complete necessary repairs based on client’s concerns. Perform winterizing operations and spring preparations as required. Maintain a clean and hazard free environment. Perform other duties or support to co-workers as the pressures dictate within the Pete’s Marina environment.
