Seasonal start dates vary from April to May.   Staff Accommodation Available.   Summing it up. A House Person is the jack-of-all-trades of the Housekeeping department. They ensure guest rooms & common areas are clean, well-maintained and assist all departments in meeting guests’ needs (Guest Services, Laundry, Housekeeping etc).   What you’ll be doing.
  • Helping to keep guest & common areas bright, fresh and immaculately clean.
  • Keeping an eye out for any physical or material damage to guest areas and giving a heads-up to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Support Room Attendants by delivering supplies required for rooms.
  • Taking pride in the resort.
  • Ensure the safety & confidentiality of owners, guests and employees.

  • Knowledge of best practices from working within a luxury property is desired.

RV Park Coordinator

Position Summary – The RV Park Coordinator is responsible to ensure the Office Clerks, Grounds Labourers and themselves are presenting the Resort to company standards, that guests are our main focus. Ensuring all standards and procedures are being followed as instructed, and that any discrepancies are reported to the assistant manager and/or manager. Major Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Office and Grounds staff.
  • Check guests in and out of the park
  • Answering phones and emails in a professional manner
  • Ability to handle cash transactions, both actual and electronic
  • Resolve guest concerns, issues and follow-up
  • Coordinate and communicates with all operating departments to enhance guest experience
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including daily cleaning of all equipment and facilities used.
  • Maintain clean, concise and effective communication with the parks’ front desk agent
  • Enforcing park rules and regulations
  • Vacuuming, Washing Desk and Chairs
  • Operate portable radios in a professional and safe manner
  • Providing front desk agent of any discrepancies in the sites
  • Co-operate and accept other assignments as and when required.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
  • Up-to-date Safe Propane Filling certificate is an asset but not required
  • Minimum of 2-year experience in supervisory role is preferred
  • Front Desk experience is an asset
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities for self.
  • Proficient with computers

Line Cook

Position Summary – A Line Cook produces and prepares menu items for any of our restaurants, maximizing efficiency and service, while ensuring that quality, quantity, and presentation of prepared food is completed in accordance with the facilities high standards. Major Duties & Responsibilities: ·         Prepare all menu items on a made-to-order basis ·         Pre-prep all menu items according to par levels ·         Help set up the whole kitchen prior to a restaurant’s opening ·         Provide quality control of all food prepared ·         Ensure restaurant cooking areas are fully stocked ·         Pitches in, along with the rest of the staff, to maintain sanitary conditions and organization in the kitchen ·         Minimize wastage ·         Maintain a clean and safe work area ·         Maintain a presentable appearance to guests ·         Carry out standard closing duties ·         Participate in daily cleaning of the kitchen(s) ·         Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications & Skills: ·      2 years cooking experience in a fast paced kitchen ·      Grade 10 math and reading skills ·      Ability to communicate and present oneself professionally within and across all levels of the resort ·      Ability to work within strict time deadlines ·      Ability to work within a team and as an individual efficiently ·      Food Safe Level 1 ·      Working knowledge of standard cost controls and waste management protocols ·         Ability to work hours to accommodate fluctuating business needs which can include late evenings, early mornings, weekends and holidays

Resort Manager

We are looking for someone enthusiastic about the outdoors, who gets excited about meeting new people and doesn’t mind getting a bit dirty (bonus if you’re a dog lover). We are willing to train the right person to look over daily operations of our small resort. You must be very flexible and commit to full time hours with some overtime. The position will be about 20 weeks starting in May and ending in October. We can commit to 40 hours each week with the same days off each week but the hours of shifts will likely vary depending on our bookings and daily tasks. You would be responsible for answering phone calls, checking guests in, selling firewood, some housekeeping, site maintenance (cleaning outhouses, waste management, watering flowers), and mostly making sure our guests feel welcome and have a positive experience with us. We are a young, small business. We are continuing to learn as we grow and are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow with us.
